Finca El Renegado

It is Adolfo de las Heras Marín who, in 1985, driven by his oenological passion, founded Bodegas y Viñedos de Utiel, acquiring one of the estates with the greatest ecological and oenological value in the Valencian Community. El Renegado has 540 hectares between vineyard and forest, of which more than 80% are vineyards over 40 years old of the native Bobal grape. Don Adolfo was one of the pioneers in introducing other varieties such as Merlot or Cabernet to this area. He was also one of the first to make quality bottled wine.
