Finca Río Negro

In 1998, the Fuentes Family decided to establish the Finca Río Negro Winery, bringing back the famous but extinct wine tradition since the phylloxera arrived. Located in the foothills of the Sierra Norte Guadalajara Natural Park, at the unusual altitude of 1.000 meters and 60 kms away from the nearest vineyard, what make us have a unique “terroir”, that is reflected in our wines. There are 42 hectares of vineyards in the property, divided in 30 different plots. We are completely state bottled, hand harvested and in conversion to ecologic.
